Legal

Terms of use.

This site is a description of our firm. It is not an offer, an advertisement for a fund, or investment advice.

Last updated March 2026.

Nothing here is an offer

The Bit Foundation Ventures manages private funds available only to qualified investors, by private offering documents. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy an interest in any fund, and no part of it should be relied on in making an investment decision.

Portfolio references

Companies shown on this site are a selection, chosen to illustrate the kind of work we do rather than to represent the performance of any fund. Naming a company is not a recommendation of it, and past outcomes do not indicate future ones.

What you send us

Material you submit through the application or contact forms is treated as confidential within the partnership. We do not sign non-disclosure agreements before a first meeting, which is standard practice across the industry and protects us from claims arising out of parallel investments. Please do not send anything you would not want an investor to have read.

Accuracy

We keep this site current, but figures such as portfolio counts and valuations move and are stated as of the last time we updated the page. Writing published under Insights reflects the views of the author at the time and is not advice for your specific situation.

Intellectual property

The text, marks, and design of this site belong to The Bit Foundation Ventures. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is welcome. Republishing a page in full is not.

Photography

Photographs on this site are used under the Unsplash License and remain the work of their photographers. They illustrate the pages rather than document them, so treat an office or a workspace as a picture of the idea and not a picture of the room.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions about them can go to founders@thebitfoundation.com.
