Short version: we collect what we need to reply to you, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Last updated March 2026.

What we collect

Two things. Information you send us directly, such as an application, an email, or a message through the contact form. And basic analytics about how pages on this site are used, collected without cookies and without any attempt to identify you.

What we do with it

  • Read and respond to applications and messages.
  • Keep a record of companies we have met, so that a later conversation does not start from zero.
  • Understand which pages are useful enough to keep.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, share applications outside the partnership without asking, or add you to a mailing list because you filled in a form. If we ever want to forward your material to another investor, we will ask you first.

How long we keep it

Applications and correspondence are kept for as long as we are in contact, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by writing to founders@thebitfoundation.com, and we will confirm once it is done.

Third parties

This site is hosted by Vercel and our email runs on Google Workspace. Both process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not run advertising trackers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you. Write to us and we will handle it within thirty days. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell the people it affects directly.
